Hayti, a Black-owned news aggregation app, claims it is now the largest source of podcasts led by Black hosts. The app lists more than 2,000 shows.
Buzzsprout and Ausha have both launched AI tools to help podcasters when publishing new shows. Buzzsprout’s tool automatically builds episode titles, descriptions, chapter markers and transcripts, while Ausha has added ChatGPT to help produce social media posts.
At The Podcast Show 2023 in London, it was announced that Edison Podcast Metrics are coming to the UK. Edison Podcast Metrics UK will be the first podcast ranker in the country, and will use a quarterly survey of at least 2,000 weekly podcast listeners.
