Our Story

Founder Arielle Nissenblatt was stuck in LA traffic one day, and realized that podcasts helped ease her through the commute. Though she loved her five favorite podcasts, she wanted more. She asked friends to share their favorites, and quickly, the movement grew. Now, we send a weekly email with a theme and five podcast episodes around the theme, curated by a different person, and read by thousands of site visitors from around the world.

Anyone can curate a list! Lists are published every Sunday. We have content spanning back from 2017—that’s a lot of podcast content! What We Do at EarBuds

Earbuds Podcast Collective brings the diverse and ever-growing podcast universe directly to listeners. Our weekly lists are crowdsourced collections of content from every category and genre out there, ranging from prominent sources to indie unknowns. 

We also produce a weekly podcast — which serves as an audio version of our newsletter — bringing you a chat between Arielle Nissenblatt and the weekly curator, plus other audio recommendations.

EarBuds Podcast Collective also produces networking events (both virtual and in person) that brings podcasters and listeners together. Our goal is to create a community where podcast enthusiasts can create, ask questions, collaborate, and share their love for all things audio related.
