Podcast Movement Evolutions has announced the second set of speakers for Las Vegas in March.
Spotify has lost an exclusive podcast. Brené Brown has released the final episodes of Unlocking Us and Dare to Lead after the company didn’t renew a two year deal. Brown paused her podcasts during the controversy about Joe Rogan’s comments earlier in the year; she’s taking a break from podcasting for now.
Adblock Podcast is a forthcoming service, promising to “detect and skip ads on all iTunes podcasts.” The project’s owner, Micah Engle-Eshleman from Portland, OR plans to charge listeners for the service. The claim is that it will share revenue with podcast makers instead, though he admits, “To be honest, I haven’t figured out this last part yet.”
