After the news of yet another shooting, this time in Virginia Beach, it's hard not to feel hopeless about the problem of gun violence in America. Too often the media gets bogged down in debates about the 2nd amendment. But there's a lot that can be done about the problem that's got nothing to do with the 2nd amendment. The first step is to learn about the science, to figure out what's been shown to work.
