Podcast listeners know that a world of entertainment, news, education and storytelling is just within earshot. But millions of people around the world are unable to experience the joy of listening due to disabling hearing loss.
An estimated 5 percent of the world’s population - 328 million adults and 32 million children - have disabling hearing loss and the impact of hearing loss not only affects the individual but their family, community, country and the world at large. The LISTEN IN campaign launched on May 1 as part of "Better Hearing Month." The goal is to help Starkey Hearing Foundation raise $25,000 for their next round of global outreach.
If you're reading this newsletter and want to give the gift of hearing you can make your tax-deductible donation today.
